Templates and text message updates are here. More ways to meet customers where they are, faster.

This month, we launched SMS notifications for buyers, introduced reusable post templates in Operator, and continued improving WarrantyOS, customer-facing controls, and platform reliability.

These updates are focused on helping your team communicate faster, reduce repetitive work, and keep customer-facing information accurate across Foundation.

Customer Experience

Foundation now lets buyers stay connected to important updates from your team via SMS text message notifications.

What's new in Customer Experience:

  • SMS Notifications — Buyers can now opt in to receive Foundation notifications by text message when SMS is configured for your organization, giving teams another channel for timely customer communication.

  • Property Detail Controls — Builders can now hide square footage and/or bedroom and bathroom counts from Buyer Portal plan views when needed, giving teams more control over what customers see.

  • Messaging Improvements — We improved the mobile messaging experience through visual improvements.

Operator

We also made improvements in Operator that help teams create repeatable communication, manage customer workflows, and keep important information organized.

What's new in Operator:

  • Templates — Operators can now save reusable post templates with rich text, assets, links, and video embeds, then apply them across property activity feeds and community updates.

  • Template Filtering — The Templates page shows templates across division and community filters, helping teams find and manage the right templates faster.

  • Read-Only Construction Milestones — For API-managed sponsors, construction milestones can now be set to read-only in Operator while external syncs continue running in the background.

  • Customer Workflow Updates — Several builder workflows were refined this month, including action items, construction milestones, document folders, and post-close reminders.

WarrantyOS

WarrantyOS continues to help customer care teams manage service requests, purchase orders, and homeowner issue resolution with more clarity and control.

What's new in WarrantyOS:

  • Preferred Contact in Service Request Emails — When a homeowner selects a preferred contact on a service request, that contact’s name, email, and phone number now appear in the builder notification email.

  • Purchase Order Settings Display — Updated Purchase Order configurations for more granular control and customization by the builder.

  • WarrantyOS Enablement Updates — Improvements for continued support of easier WarrantyOS rollouts and configuration updates for teams adopting or expanding their customer care workflows.

Platform Improvements

  • There were several additional updates this month to keep Foundation faster and more reliable for your team and your customers.

Every month, we’re continuing to make Foundation more connected and easier to operate — so your team can stay focused on delivering a better customer experience across the entire journey.
